This Bundle combines two items: the Coralife BioCube Protein Skimmer & MarineAndReef Reefractometer. Why do we combine these two items in a package? Because everyone getting a BioCube Protein Skimmer has a saltwater tank and everyone with a saltwater tank needs the only Reefractometer on the market. The Coralife BioCube NEW STYLE Protein Skimmer (V2) is an improvement over the old skimmer that required an airstone and air pump. This skimmer is a more traditional skimmer with a water pump and needle wheel impeller. This protein skimmer fits conveniently into built-in filtration system in the back of the Oceanic & Coralife BioCubes. This includes the older Oceanic and Coralife Size 29 BioCubes and the newer Coralife Size 16 & Size 32 LED BioCube Aquariums. NOTE: with the BioCube 16, you will need to put the Skimmer in the middle chamber (which means you will need to remove the media basket & drip tray). It will not fit the size 14 BioCubes. Includes a hanging bracket for use with standard aquariums. Adjustable air flow for wetter or dryer skimming. The Coralife BioCube Protein Skimmer quietly and efficiently removes harmful organics from saltwater environments. Simple to set-up, easy to clean. Dimensions: 12" x 3.5" x 3.75". The MarineAndReef Reefractometer is designed specifically for marine and aquarium salt water. The readout is for 0-40 PPT, which is much easier to read than the 1-100 PPT that comes with many refractometers that are for general use. The refractometer also features ATC (automated temperature compensation) so you don't need to adjust your reading.
