ERASE RUST AND STAINS - Crafted from High-Grade Calcium Carbonate, the Kessaku Rust & Stain Eraser rubs away corrosion and removes rusted surface metal. Great for quick cosmetic touch-ups, it can rub away any scuffs or unsightly corrosion from the face of your blades, keeping your knives and cooking instruments looking shiny and new. It can be used on all kinds of stainless steel to restore and rejuvenate old tools and utensils and can also be used to remove stains from whetstones.
REFRESH YOUR STONES - Nagura is the Japanese word for “correcting” or “cleaning/refreshing”. This Nagura Stone is used to maintain and condition the sharpening stone (1000-Grit) and the finishing stone (6000-Grit). Using the Kessaku Nagura Dressing stone, it is possible to clean the surface of a water stone without without removing as much material as more aggressive flattening stone would.
SILICONE NON-SLIP STONE HOLDER - Eliminates shacking and sliding allowing a more precise sharpening session. This layer sits between the base and whetstone. It forms a bond-like grip to hold whichever stone you’re currently using firmly in place, for added protection and stability.
